| I would still prefer Indigo LX. It has got better space, better luxury and decent power. Git it a thought before going for Dezire Rushab. |

| The Dzire is priced very reasonably. I would be true money's worth.
Maruti Swift Dzire Diesel Version:
LDI : 5.39 Lakhs
VDI : 5.85 Lakhs
ZDI : 6.70 Lakhs
Maruti Swift Dzire Petrol Version:
LDI : 4.49 Lakhs
VDI : 4.97 Lakhs
ZDI : 5.90 Lakhs |

| Swift Dzire is really a very beautiful model if design is considered, But only one mistake is making the car look like a boot attached to swift hatchback ! and
that is the black strip on front door frame !!! I am talking about the black
strip between windshield and front door window.
The strip looks very nice and gives sporty look to swift hatchback, but sedan cars must look bit formal or
professional and not a beautified toy. the black strip removes the seaden feel from the car. |

| I agree Rushabh, that many things like engine, wheelbase, width, tyres, front looks, etc are the same as the Swift, they have disappointed a lot of people. It should have surely got some more power, space(legroom & back seating space) & the much liked beige dashboard.
But on the other hand, it is also offering many good features usually found in top end models which is certainly an added advantage. The price at which it is offering, to keep it competitve against likes of Ikon, Indigo & Ascent, SX4, Fusion, Fiesta & Verna, it had to make some compromises. Hence I feel it is still worth a car as compared to others in the segment. What say guys.. |

| Can someone who has bought Dzire tell me how the car is. Apart from the boot, is there anything else different from the Swift. I stay in Mumbai. Which would be a better car to buy, Swift or Swift Dzire? |

| The features on the expo have been really good! Its good to know that we have someone looking at the flip side of the Nano launch...
The video clips of the interviews are quite good. However, some other video clips are a bit shaky.
All the best and keep the good work going! |

I think what R K Pachauri was stating is right. Finally, we have to take care of enviornment, isnt it?? |

| What is wrong with our Nobel prize winning R K Pachauri? He is saying that Ratan Tata should not make the Nano small car, and should instead make public transport vehicles.
Great! Doesn't Pachauri know that Tata Motors is already the biggest manufacturer of commercial vehicles (including buses) in India? Does he expect Tata to make more buses even if there is no demand for them?
The demand for buses has to come from state and city transport corporations. Pachauri should try and persuade them to order more buses. I think Ratan Tata will be very happy if that happens.
As far as pollution is concerned, yes, it is a serious problem. But could we request our environmentalists to inform us how much pollution is caused by the bigger cars in which they travel? |

Your coverage of the Auto Expo in Delhi is great. Thanks to you I got an excellent glimpse not only of the Tata Nano (which of course everybody and his uncle write about) but also of so many other car companies and models.
The article on 'Why critics of the Tata small car are barking up the wrong tree' by Vivek Sharma is also excellent. I can understand why Mr Tata feels let down by unfair criticism of his car which he has made for ordinary people when nobody has ever criticised any other car.
Hope you will be continuing this coverage. |
