Airnetz Aviation, Mumbai-based jet and helicopter charter company to expand fleet size

Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai-based Airnetz Aviation, a company in the business of providing business jet charters and helicopter services, has announced its intention to expand the size of its fleet. The company said it is looking at aircraft from two major international aircraft manufacturers, Switzerland-based Diamond Aircraft Industries and New Mexico,USA-based Eclipse Aviation for its fleet.

The company, which commenced operations just this month, said it would like to induct five VLJs (Very Light Jets). It provides a fleet service of six business jets and eight helicopters,and now is on the look out for light jets in order to cater to the corporate segment.

According to Atul Khekada, CEO, Airnetz Aviation, there is an increasing demand from the corporate segment for small and light jet charters. He said that the company had applied for a license to operate VLJs and was awaiting approval from the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation).

The company provides helicopter and private jet services for both domestic and international markets, targeting small and medium sized corporates. Besides, it also offers private jet charter service to international locations like UK, Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia and China.
