Renault SA plans to introduce the new Twingo Night & Day limited edition cars in seven European countries, including France. The car maker wants to build on the success of the Twingo, which has already sold more than 100,000 units in 21 countries since its launch in June 2007.
According to Renault, more than 50,000 registrations have been recorded in France,where it tops the compact city car segment with a market share of 3.4 per cent.
The Twingo Night & Day is based on the Dynamique version, features specific wheel trims, extra-tinted rear glass and pearlescent black exterior mirror housings.The car is modern with a distinct feminine touch, thanks to the floral graphics on the pearlescent black foglamp trims, B-pillar and rear bumper. The floral graphics can even be carried over to the key.
The car is available in two body colours - Pearlescent Black and Glacier White and customers get a choice of one of two engines - the 1.216V 75hp petrol or the 1.5 dCi 65hp diesel power.
The interior has been styled to provide overall comfort and yet potray an elegant look with appealing styling details, including specific Twingo-branded sills, specific 'Mot' upholstery with white stitching and gloss black climate control buttons,
Other interior features include an in-built 40W radio-CD, standard manual climate control, sliding, independent rear seats and gloss black-ringed organiser box to fit items such as mobile phones, MP3 players and other small accessories.
The Twingo Night & Day, will be available for sale in European countries such as Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Holland, with the prices starting from $18,515 in France.
