Air Arabia announces range of low fares from India to global destinations

Air Arabia, the pioneering low-cost carrier from the Middle East and North Africa region, has announced a range of low fares from across 13 destinations in India to its hub in Sharjah, with further connectivity to 46 global destinations.
The carrier said the low fares come with a free baggage allowance of up to 20 kilos and a hand baggage allowance of 7 kilos. The new fares are inclusive of all surcharges, excluding airport tax and fees, and are valid for travel till 31 March 2010.

- Amman/Beirut/Damascus –Rs3,982
- Khartoum –Rs4,117
- Alexandria–Rs4,387
- Istanbul –Rs7,222
- Kiev, Nairobi –Rs7,357

''With 46 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Indian sub-continent and eastern Europe, Air Arabia passengers can choose from a range compelling fares as well as holiday packages through Air Arabia Holidays.''
In the first six months of the year, Air Arabia carried more than 1.95 million passengers; a 20 per cent increase over the 1.6 million passengers carried during the first half of last year.
Air Arabia flies directly from its hub in Sharjah to Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Thiruvanathapuram, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Delhi and Goa. This, the airline says, represents the most comprehensive destination network of any international airline in India.
Air Arabia's main base is the Sharjah International Airport.
