Aztec Software registers a half-year net loss of Rs 29 million

Mumbai: Aztec Software and Technology Services has posted a net loss of Rs 29.1 million for the half year ended 30 September 2002 as compared to a net profit of Rs 124.4 million for the corresponding period last fiscal.

Aztec CEO William Chris Brown says the company's total income has decreased from Rs 492.7 million in the half year ended 30 September 2001 to Rs 264.8 million in the half year ended 30 September 2002.

According to the consolidated results, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 10.6 million for the half year ended 30 September 2002 as compared to a net profit of Rs138.2 million for the corresponding period last fiscal.

The total income has decreased from Rs 494.4 million in the half year ended 30 September 2001 to Rs 263.5 million in the half year ended 30 September 2002.
