Hexaware Technologies acquires US firm FocusFrame

Mumbai: IT and BPO service provider Hexaware Technologies has acquired FocusFrame Inc, an IT firm in the US, in an all-cash deal of $34.3 million.
Hexaware, a global provider of IT and process outsourcing services, has extensive experience in managing large IT applications in real time as well as in providing high-value services around packaged enterprise applications such as SAP and PeopleSoft.
Hexaware has a client base comprising several Global 1000 organisations. The company's development centers are assessed at SEI CMMI-Level 5, and are also ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT certified. FocusFrame helps Fortune 500 clients in CRM implementations.
Hexaware Technologies registered a 11 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs16.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs18.61 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003.
Total income increased from Rs101.70 crore in the second quarter-03 to Rs149.22 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.
The company posted a 71.6-per cent decline in net profit at Rs6.56 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs23.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003.
Total income has increased from Rs63.65 crore in the SQ-03 to Rs64.69 crore in the same quarter the previous year
