IOB to distribute Kotak Mutual''s products

Chennai: The city-based government owned Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) will distribute Kotak Mutual Fund's products. The bank has 1,503 branches across the country.

According to Kotak Mutual Fund CEO Sandesh Kirkire, "Banks are one of the most important distributors of mutual funds in India and are best poised to expand the market." 

The alliance will be effective November 8, 2005 and will be across all the branches of IOB.
