Kochi: The industrial finance branch of Dhanalakshmi Bank at Kochi has been awarded the ISO 9001-2000 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) of the Netherlands.

"This ISO 9001-2000 certification is nothing but a well-deserved recognition to the strict adherence to our quality policy and systems, which states that the bank is committed to continuous improvement on business performance and the quality of services to provide total customer satisfaction," says Dhanalakshmi Bank chairman T M Venkataraman.

Having obtained this international recognition, the same procedure will be replicated in other branches of the bank in the country, he adds.

DNV found the services offered by the bank in industrial finance, trade finance and foreign exchange exemplary, completely conforming to the latest and the most modern quality management system standard in the world.

This is a testament that the branch, opened in 1996, could successfully meet the needs of traders and industries expeditiously and efficiently, says Venkataraman.
