Shipping Corp introduces services to Dar e Salaam, Mombasa

State-owned sea-carrier Shipping Corporation of India today said that is will commence a service from the Indian sub continent to East Africa to cater to the growing need of the trade.

The service, ISEAFR Service, will commence from Colombo on the 27th November, 2010.

The port rotation for the service is Colombo / Dar e Salaam / Mombasa / Colombo.

The ISEAFR Service will have three voyages per month with voyage frequency every 10 days and the service will be operated with 3 x 1200 TEU vessels.

With the commencement of this service, SCI will now be able to provide coverage for Tanzanian and Kenyan ports also.
