Tata Teleservices to provide telecom infrastructure for Hirco's Panvel project

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hirco Developments, a part of the Hirco Group, for Hirco's Panvel SEZ development.
Under the terms of the MoU, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) will provide complete telecom solutions to Hirco's Panvel project, including voice (Centrex, PRIs), data (BRIs/NPLC/IBW), WiFi hotspots, video and audio conferencing facility, broadband, leased lines and wireless services or any other telecommunication services, the company said in a release.
''The MoU forms the basis of cooperation between the two companies for setting up world-class telecom infrastructure at Hirco's integrated township and proposed SEZ project in Mumbai at Panvel,'' the release added.
''We are committed to providing the occupants of Hirco establishments reliable and state-of-the-art secured networks with a bouquet of voice, video and data services at competitive prices on a single window basis. The MoU was signed in the presence of Vandrevala and Mukund Rajan, managing director of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra).
Tata Teleservices claims approximately 50 per cent market share amongst private landline telecom service providers in Mumbai.
