Zensar Tech net up 75 per cent in 9 months

During this period, the revenue grew at 14 per cent. Announcing the third quarter results, the deputy chairman and managing director, Ganesh Natarajan, said the company had reported an increase in revenue and profit along with improvement in offshore proportion.
The consolidated revenue for the quarter ended December 2003 stood at Rs 71.76 crore, against Rs 59.35 crore for the corresponding period last year, showing an increase of 20.9 per cent. The profit before tax stood at Rs 5.58 crore (Rs 4.73 crore).
He noted that while the IT services grew significantly, the BPO business registered the first win in the US market. In terms of comparison with sequential quarter, the revenue increase was 12 per cent, while profits grew by 48 per cent.
