Aircel launches 'Design your own plan’

Aircel has launched 'Design your own plan', an online service offering both its pre- and post-paid customers the flexibility to create a plan of their choice. The service offers the company's subscribers to customise tariff plans based on their requirements.
To 'Design your own plan', customers will need to log on to www.aircel.com, and make choices, as per their need, across calling, texting and surfing in the Plan Designer tool.
After the choices have been entered across, a relevant plan is shared for the customers to choose and confirm. Customers also have the freedom to re-design the plan or add extra packs basis their need, the company said in a statement.
"Customers understand their communication needs and we would like to empower them with the freedom of choosing a plan on their choice. It is with this view, we are introducing an Industry First initiative - 'Design Your Own Plan'' which helps customers to now design, tweak and choose their very own Prepaid Plan," said Anupam Vasudev, chief marketing officer, Aircel.
As of May-end, Aircel had a total user base of 72 million.
