Alstom receives contract for Bokaro Power's boiler turbine supply

Alstom Projects India Ltd has been awarded an order worth Rs 208 crore to supply Bokaro Power Supply Company (P) Ltd's boiler turbine package on a turnkey basis. The plant, located in Bokaro steel city in Jharkhand, will cater to the in-house power demand of the steel plant.

The scope of the work includes design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of 1x38.45mw back-pressure turbine and 300 TPH PC-fired boiler.

Bokaro Supply Company is augmenting its existing 330mw power plant for process steam as well as power generation. The process steam will be used for the existing steel plant. Alstom has earlier executed power boilers for the Damodar Valley Corporation at various locations.
