Kochi:
Soft drinks major Coca-Cola may sign superstar Mammootty
shortly as its brand ambassador for South India.
Sources point out that Mammootty, as chairman of Kairali TV, may face some embarrassment for he heads what is perceived to be a left leaning TV channel.
But
sources for the company commented that " We are looking
for Mammootty the chairman of Kairali TV and not Mammootty
the Communist.''''
When contacted, Mammootty confirmed that negotiations were on with Coke, but refused to comment further.
