Mumbai: Ford Motor aims to bring auto enthusiasts of all ages together in the Woodward Dream Cruise at the Ford Drive One display in Ferndale, Michigan. The three-day event from 15 August to 17 August will include auto displays of various Ford vehicles ranging from sedans, trucks and performance vehicles. The event will also feature live musical stage shows, an auto auction and an interactive exhibit where people will try their hand at playing a wide variety of instruments as well as the popular video game "Guitar Hero." Ford Drive One is one of the largest displays of any automaker along Woodward Avenue, spread across one mile area along the 9 Mile Road east and west of Woodward. Mustang Alley, on 16 August, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at the Dream Cruise with the largest display of Mustangs on Woodward. Enthusiasts will view the display through the new "Mustang Garage," created especially for the Dream Cruise, which will feature a full array of Ford Racing Mustangs. A display of Ford cars, past and present will be one of the major attractions of the Dream Cruise. The range will include a Model T display celebrating the 100th anniversary of the iconic car credited with "putting the world on wheels," as well as an array of new vehicles, including the new Ford F-150, Flex and Focus Coupe. Ford's popular moster truck Blue Thunder will be on hand for fans and spectators to see. Fans can get their picture taken next to Blue Thunder and get autographs from driver Linsey Weenk and crew member Bill Easterly Junior. The F-150 Truck display will have gun spinning, trick roping and Bronco riding as well as live entertainment by the wild west performers. The kid's zone will feature remote control car racing, Rouge Factory mobile tour and a 20-screen multi-sensory experience on a 45-foot rig. Ford's Special Vehicle Team will display their collection of performance vehicles in a unique display. SVT products, including the SVT Lightning, SVT Mustang and the latest SVT creation and star of the upcoming television series "Knight Rider," the GT500KR, will be on-site for enthusiasts to enjoy. Engineers from SVT will also be on hand to answer questions regarding their products. The show will also feature an auto auction event, which will have representatives from the world's largest classic car auctions evaluating classic cars.Gary Bennet from Barret-Jackson will be on hand to answer questions and take part in the judging of a car show.
