Hero Honda signs biggest-ever IPL sponsorship deal

Hero Honda today signed the biggest sponsorship agreement in the history of any franchise in the Indian Premier League.
The company will sponsor the Sachin Tendulkar-led Mumbai Indians with an agreement that has been billed as the most expensive in the history of any franchisee in the IPL though the figures were not given.
Under the agreement Hero Honda would be allowed to place its logo on the front of the Mumbai Indians' team jersey.
Describing the deal as iconic, a Mumbai Indian spokesperson said he expected the deal to benefit both parties and the fans following the sport.
He said that Mumbai Indians had had an exciting journey in the past seasons of IPL and had established a distinguished brand of cricket with the largest IPL fan base across the world. He added that the team was happy to partner with Hero Honda.
