iGate Global Solutions Ltd has appointed of Polaris Software Lab's Hemant Bhardwaj as marketing head. Bhardwaj, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, has earlier worked with ITC Ogilvy, LOWE and Mudra.

At Polaris, Bhardwaj, is credited with conceptualising and executing innovative and successful marketing initiatives, specifically for the banking product, Intellect Suite.
