Jet Airways introduces non-stop flight on Ahmedabad-London-Ahmedabad sector

Jet Airways India Ltd has announced that it would introduce flights between Ahmedabad and Heathrow in London twice per week effective 3 April, 2007, due to be enhanced to three flights per week from May, 2007.
Ahmedabad will be the fourth city in India, to be linked with Heathrow by Jet Airways following regulatory approvals from the government. Jet has been operating flights tio Heathrow from Mumbai with twice a day flights from Mumbai, once daily from Delhi and six times a week from Amritsar.

Jet's flights will operate from Ahmedabad on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while in the return direction, the flight from London Heathrow to Ahmedabad will be on Tuesdays and Sundays from 3 April to 30 April 30, 2007. From 1 May, 2007, an additional frequency has been added on this sector, on every Saturday, from Ahmedabad and every Friday from London Heathrow.
Flight 9W 125 will depart from Ahmedabad at 1410 hours and arrive in London Heathrow at 1905 hours (Local Time). In the return direction, flight 9W 126 will depart London Heathrow at 2235 hours (Local Time) and arrive in Ahmedabad at 1145 hours (local time) the next morning.
As part of its inaugural offer, the arline has introduced a special economy class inaugural return airfare of Rs28,000, exclusive of taxes.
