Mumbai: Pharmaaceutical major Lupin Ltd has acquired Rubamin Laboratories Ltd (RLL), a Vadodara-based contract manufacturer of raw materials for bulk drugs for an undisclosed sum.

Rubamin has been engaged in the manufacture of advanced intermediates for APIs under contract research and manufacturing (CRAMS) model for over a decade

Lupin said that Rubamin has capabilities to participate in the value chain from drug development to commercial production of advanced intermediates for APIs and has a strong customer base.
