Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services (www.satyam.com), a leading global player in the IT services space, and BaaN (www.baan.com), a leading provider of collaborative commerce solutions for varied industry verticals, have formed a strategic alliance to deliver generation-next, e-business solutions.

Under this alliance, the companies will jointly deliver solutions that combine Satyam’s strategic consulting and implementation services with BaaN’s iBaaN suite of business solutions in the India and ASEAN region.

The collaborative enterprise solutions (CES) unit of Satyam delivers solutions encompassing the span of the enterprise, its business partners and customers. It focuses on the enhancement of the efficiencies across the value network by promoting collaboration, visibility, synchronisation and responsiveness.

The alliance with BaaN is set to create a strong synergy between the solutions that BaaN provides and the solutions delivered out of CES. BaaN’s solutions address the business needs of the entire extended enterprise with powerful e-business solutions that help companies’ transition to the Internet.
