Pune: Vascon Engineers, a leader in industrial and commercial projects, has bagged a prestigious contract from Zensar.
Vascon will construct a total built-up area of 2,00,000 sq ft as an extension to Zensar's already existing facility on the Pune-Ahmednagar Road. The new infrastructure, to be built by Vascon Engineers, will be constructed on 11 acres of land, which belongs to Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation.
Vascon Engineers will provide Zensar the built-up area of 2, 00,000 sq ft with modular grid constructing flat slab to synchronise Zensar's interiors requirement, and help them achieve maximum clear working height with international standard elevation. As per the contract, Vascon will complete the project in just 42 weeks.
Marisoft, the software park of the Vascon group, already houses some of the biggest IT companies. The group has the credit of completing projects in record time. Says Vascon Engineers chairman and managing director R Vasudevan: "The credit for bagging the Zensar contract goes to the record and timely completion of work at Marisoft for other IT majors like Parametric, MsourcE.
"As a matter of fact MsourcE was done in a record time of 95 days with a constructed area of 40,000 sq ft and now we look forward to do the same with Zensar with the same dedication and commitment. We strongly believe that the backbone of any successful IT project is the infrastructure it is built upon and thus we also understand the importance of the time factor in it."
