Vodafone India launches trial packs for 2G, 3G users

Vodafone India, the Indian unit of British telecom major Vodafone, has launched 'one-time trial packs' for its 2G and 3G subscribers and launched its popular advertisement characters Zoozoos in a fresh avatar.

''Our core objective is to drive mobile internet adoption among non-internet users. The new category of trial packs to make mobile internet more interesting, less intimidating for them. We see tremendous potential in this offer as non-users will be able to discover the benefits of mobile internet and how it can change their lives,'' said Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India.

The latest data packs are available at Rs 25 for 2G and Rs 49 for 3G, and is launched with a 500 MB data allowance.

Available for both post-paid and pre-paid customer, the 'One Time Trial Pack' has seven days of validity.

This offer is not available on paper or e-top ups.

The company has also brought back the Zoozoos in a fresh avatar to increase the level of awareness and emphasise on the benefits of using internet on the mobile.
