No great business happening, clarifies Wipro

has clarified that there are no material developments
on the business front.
Says Wipro vice-president (finance) Suresh Senapaty: It has been brought to our notice that there have been news reports about large order wins by Wipro. These reports are not based on facts. As part of our routine business, we continue to pursue small, medium as well as large opportunities in the market.
As and when these opportunities fructify, we will make announcements as appropriate. We reiterate our revenue guidance of approximately $143 million for the quarter ended 30 September 2002 comprising revenues from global IT services, Wipro Healthcare and Life Science and Wipro Spectramind.
