Wipro bags KM Reality Award for knowledge management

Mumbai: Wipro Technologies (www.wipro.com) has received Information Todays KMWorld-KM Reality Award, validating Wipros leadership in knowledge management.
This award recognises Wipros efforts in building and maintaining a successful corporate-wide knowledge management programme. The award was presented at a recent ceremony, KMWorld and Intranets 2002, in Santa Clara.
KMWorld is the worlds largest and most comprehensive conference and exposition dedicated to content, work, collaboration, knowledge and intellectual asset management, and business / competitive intelligence.
KM Reality honours organisations that demonstrate leadership in the implementation of knowledge management practices and processes by realising measurable benefits. The programme has to be in place for a minimum of two years, demonstrate senior management support and have defined metrics in place to evaluate the programme and its impact on organisational goals.
