Wipro Infotech ties up with Red Hat to offer Linux Services in India

Mumbai: Wipro Infotech today announced its tie up with Linux provider Red Hat to offer Linux services in India. With this collaboration, Wipro offers customers cost-efficient, reliable, secure andscalable solutions built around Linux platforms.
Apart from providing basic services, Wipro Infotech will also offer application services, migration and upgrade services, desktop services and enterprise management services to Linux Customers. It will also provide consulting resources to choose solutions that enable optimal performance, improve productivity and time to market and deliver a tangible return on investment.
Speaking on the occasion, T D Thandava Murthy, chief executive, Wipro Services said, "Wipro's services offerings will now be a one-stop shop for all customers, irrespective of the operating environment they use. Our expertise in the operating systems environment cuts across platforms and Linux customers can now avail better Systems Integration right through EAI."
