BoI and Swaraj Mazda launch
financing for small road operators

Bank
of India has launched a scheme called "BOI-Swaraj Mazda Small Road Transport
Operator Scheme" in tie-up with Swaraj Mazda, for extending finance to
the Bank's existing as well as prospective customers for purchase of Light
Commercial Vehicles. The
finance will be available, both under direct agriculture scheme to the farmers
and under the Small Road Transport Operators' scheme to others. Interest rates
for these loans have been attractively
offered and start from 9 per cent pa. The loans could be repaid over a period
up to seven years. List
