Kolkata-based ABP Pvt Ltd, the publisher of the Ananda Bazaar Patrika has launched the Indian edition of popular US business magazine, Fortune, in association with its publisher, Time Inc.
Fortune magazine is a global leader in business journalism with a domestic circulation of over 850,000 and a global readership of nearly 5 million, and major franchises including the Fortune 500 and the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Fortune publishes English-language editions in Europe and Asia, and local-language editions in China, Turkey, South Korea, Indonesia and Greece, and now India.
''Fortune India will provide business insights and trends to help big Indian businesses become aware of international developments that can affect them, and of unique local issues that could assume worldwide importance," says DD Purkayastha, managing director and CEO, ABP Pvt. Ltd.
Fortune India will be published monthly in English, through a licensed agreement between Time Inc. and ABP Group.
