Sahara Samay Rashtriya presents a novel concept based programme for Children, News Park. The channel is all set to explore a crucial segment of the audience that has been historically underplayed by news channels. This is an endeavour to provide a platform for these young minds to express their point of view.

News Park is a half an hour program on every Sunday 9:30-10 a.m. and caters to the children in the age group of 8-15 yrs. The content and the style of presentation also provide a pleasant change to the adults from the regular program formats.

The theme of News Park is based on current affairs & news and is an exclusive programme for the children, of the children & by the children. Children portray the news stories in their own style including the anchoring and voiceovers. Over & above this, News Park also focuses on creating interest for various art forms like theatre, dance, music, etc among the children.

Additional to the stories, 'The Great Debate' forms a major part of the programme, which is an intra school debate, conducted in one of the schools on a topic chosen specially by the children.

News Park, in some unique episodes, has even crossed border and invited children from Pakistan to be a part of the discussion. Children now find a voice to share their aspirations & participate in the future of our nation.
