IQMS Software's US subsidiary pockets $1-million order

Mumbai: IQMS Software has announced having received a $1-million dollar order for on-site consulting work in the United States, through its US-based subsidiary Trac Tel Solutions.

Trac Tel Solutions would implement the order over the next two quarters, the company said.

The project involves software solutions for converged prepaid and post paid, including business control systems, which consists of wire line billing & CRM, Multi-Play, IPTV, VOIP and central billing systems.

Trac Tel Solutions Inc is a leading provider of business control, billing and CRM solutions for communications service providers.

Tract Tel deploys its full range of end-to-end, stand-alone and add-on solutions to customers in over 5 customer locations and has implemented solutions in wireless, wire line, cable, content and broadband markets, including multiple cross-network installations.

IQMS Software in January 2008 became one of the first IT company from India to acquire an American firm by buying stake in the US-based telecom solutions company, Tractel Solutions. Indian IT firms are capitalising on the current US slowdown by aggressively acquiring US firms. accounting for seven out of the 10 acquisitions during the first two months of 2008.
