Hyderabad:
Satyam Computer Services hosted a trade analyst presentation
at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) recently. Satyam
commemorated its "2001 NYSE listing" on the
trading floor with representatives from New York-based
top Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions;
political figures, and media.
Satyam's
chairman Ramalinga Raju, executive vice-president and
COO Ram Mynampati, and senior vice-president of Worldwide
Marketing and Strategic Alliances Neeraj Nityanand welcomed
their leading trade analysts (Gartner and Giga Group)
and scribes to participate in a roundtable presentation.
Ram
Mynampati discussed the IT outsourcing industry and the
company's competitive advantages, "We have grown
rapidly and have taken pride in being a pioneer in the
global IT services industry. This event has given us the
opportunity to reach out to our customers and communicate
our message effectively," said Ramalinga Raju.
Satyam
officials said that clients are increasingly looking to
service providers for a complete range of services across
the globe at a competitive cost, a need born out of the
global economic slowdown and increased competition. Indian
offshore IT solutions companies bring local talent, lower
cost infrastructure and a culture geared to adaptation
and change. The key word is "flexibility" for
customers.
