Hyderabad:
Approva Corporation, an enterprise controls management software firm, has
joined The Institute of Internal Auditors' partners in progress programme.
The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) , the audit profession's recognised
authority and principal educator and Approva Corporation, will work together
to promote and support the internal audit profession. The
IIA partners in progress is an invitation-only programme designed to establish
relationships with organisations that provide quality goods and services for
internal auditors. For more than a half century, the IIA has partnered with
similar organisations. "Few
business processes are of more concern to internal auditors than an organisation's
system of internal control," says IIA president Dave Richard. "We
are pleased to have Approva join our partnership programme and to further
the charge of the internal audit profession for strong systems of internal
control." Says
Prashanth (PV) Boccasam, president and CEO of Approvam, "Our company's
enterprise controls management software is an excellent tool for internal
and external auditors to use when searching for the 'needle in the haystack.'
Approva software helps large companies build sustainable Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
programmes by continuously monitoring internal controls and business processes
for business exceptions. We look forward to collaborating with The IIA on
new programs that improve internal auditing's ability to leverage technology
to improve internal controls and business process efficiency at the same time.
" Approva
Corporation enables large organisations to transform compliance efforts into
competitive advantage. By offering unique, continuous and actionable insight
