Chennai: California Software Co Ltd (Calsoft) has announced the appointment of Robert (Bob) Brynes as vice president to head its new office at Boston under its wholly owned subsidiary CSWL, Inc.

Before joining Calsoft group Brynes was COO and president at Vibren Technologies Inc. He has over 20 years of successful senior management and executive experience, including eight years with NEC Technologies and eight years with IBM Corporation.

This is the third marketing office of Calsoft group in the US and will help the company to focus on the East Coast of US. The new office will initially focus on driving growth for the Technology Solutions Segment of Calsoft group and targets revenues of over $2 million from this office in the current fiscal year. Calsoft has already developed high quality software products for customers such as Affymetrix Inc., Hewlett Packard, and Nortel.
