Hyderabad: Aditi Technologies, a Bangalore-based outsourced software product development services company, has announced the successful transition of its BOT (build-operate-transfer) initiative, which resulted in setting up of the Indian subsidiary of Omnicell, Inc.

Omnicell initiated a two-year BOT relationship with Aditi Technologies to contribute to the core development of its leading patient safety solutions. Aditi was chosen for its experience in software development and creating high valued teams. A core team from Aditi was responsible for training and building the Omnicell team. This involved nurturing the team in domain expertise, focused software development, as well as a rich culture.

"Aditi helped kick start the Omnicell team in India and brought it to this maturity level so that now it can operate as an independent subsidiary," said Omnicell India general manager Rich Arnold.

The built-operate-transfer models in India have faced multiple challenges in the past. Aditi claims that its hybrid BOT model has brought in further focus on predictability, reliability and customer / employee comfort.
