Chennai: The Chennai-based $4-million turnover Precision Techserve Private Limited has launched its remote infrastructure management services (RIMS) from its new centre. Costing $1.5 million, the 14,000-sq.ft global competency centre will employ over 300 people and offer round the clock network management services for others. "Initially the company will target Indian companies for this service and later look at overseas corporates for business," said P Ramesh, founder-director and CEO. The company will target banking and financial institutions, mid-sized manufacturing companies, retail outlets and hospitality industry for business. Precision Techserve will also set up full-fledged operations in US and Australia by the first quarter of 2007. "We are currently in discussion with some of the senior industry professionals to incorporate frontline marketing entities in these countries with equity participation from these key professionals. By the end of the year 2007, we will also have our operations in UK and some of the prospective countries in West-Asian region." he said.
