The Acer Aspire 5315 features a 15.4" display, a cool new chassis design and sleek looks that make it an ideal accompaniment for value-conscious consumer and the student community. Based on the Linux OS, the Acer Aspire 5315 is geared for impressive on-the-go performance, and provides great value for money offering in this space.

Acer says that the appeal of this notebook lies in the customer's deeper sense of value. The laptop comes at a price of Rs22,219, not including taxes, or the cost of a travel bag. The Acer Aspire 5315 notebook uses the latest Intel® Celeron M550 platform, supporting Intel® Wireless WiFi Link network solution for speed and performance, cutting edge graphics and signal, and has abundant storage with a 120 GB HDD and 1 GB Of RAM.

It also comes equipped with a DVD super multi 8x Double layer drive, and inbuilt camera, features not yet offered by competition in this space, according to Acer. The laptop boasts a battery life of upto 2 hours, with options available with Acer ePowerManagement to extend battery time. Acer's SignalUp and GridVista technologies have been incorporated into this notebook for more reliable wireless connectivity as well as optimized feature driven display management.
