26 March 2008

Belkin Asia Pacific, a leading provider of connectivity solutions and accessories, has announced the launch of a new range of USB hubs for the Indian markets.

The Belkin USB 2.0 Plus Hub (4 port) is designed to connect  MP3 devices and other peripherals to computer systems, and significantly reduce cable clutter in home and business environments.

The USB plus range delivers connectivity, innovation and style to the consumer desktop while allowing them to stack hubs to add even more USB ports. Two top loading ports enable consumers easily connect and disconnect flash drives and other portable devices while 'stay put pads' help anchor the hub to the consumer's desk.

Priced around Rs1,800, the hub is available in two colour combinations - brown/beige and white/grey colour. It also comes with a over-current protection and a lifetime warranty.
NNThe other Belkin launch - the Network USB Hub, offers consumers access to all USB devices, including printers, all-in-one machines and external hard drives - over the existing wireless network.

With the Network USB Hub acting as central point of connect for all USB peripherals, all users on the network can access all USB devices including printers, all-in-one machines, external hard drives etc wirelessly.

The Network USB Hub retails for Rs7,499 and also comes with a lifetime warranty. Cyberstar Infocom and Redington India are the distributors for these hubs.
