Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (HGSL), a leading provider of outsourcing solutions to Fortune 500 companies, has acquired a 100 per cent stake in UK-based customer relationship management company Careline Services.

Carline is a leading contact centre provider offering a range of services for inbound and outbound interactions. With over 1,000 employees in three locations in the UK - one in London and two in Scotland - the company handles over 50,000 customers in multiple channels in 14 languages.

Carline has more than 20 marquee customers across government, FMCG, financial services, automobiles, telecom and retail sectors, Hinduja Global said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The CEO and other senior management team of Carline Services will continue to play their role post acquisition, it added.

This acquisition, Hinduja Global's first in the UK, will act as a launch pad for entering the large UK and European markets and will also serve as a global delivery centre for European clients, the release said.

HGSL will now have 29 delivery centres across the USA, India, the Philippines, Canada, Mauritius and the UK, and an employee strength of around 16,000.
