Qimpro Consultants mark two decades of achievement in the field of quality
02 Jan 2008
Mumbai: Qimpro Consultants, who started out with a mission "to transform 'Made in India' into a world class asset", recently marked their 20th anniversary in December 2007 at a private evening graced by eminent personalities.
Business personalities such as Dr Santrupt Misra, Harsh Mariwala, M V Kotwal, Suresh L Goklaney, Bharat K Singh, Ranjit Shahani, and Roger C B Pereira graced the celebration event.
Qimpro's first decade was dedicated to Juran on Quality Improvement; and the second to the Baldrige Model through the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award. Both pioneered efforts in the field of quality, India and neighbouring countries.
For its third decade, Qimpro has dedicated itself to Innovation and Benchmarking, through the BestPrax Club, believing that BestPrax Model has several self-help features that can facilitate world-class performance.
The BestPrax Club is a web-enabled offering that minimises dependence on expensive consultants. Moreover, thanks to the reduced turnaround time for self assessments, organisations can internalise the Baldrige model at an accelerated pace. There are also numerous catalysts in the model for creative and innovative thinking, in the context of generic (non-threatening) business practices.
According to Qimpro, the key people behind the BestPrax Club are founder director Suresh Lulla, marketing consultant Walter Vieira, finance consultant Nelum Gidwani, and industrialist Homi Bhabha.
