Reva MD gets young entrepreneur award
Bangalore: Chetan Maini, managing director of Reva Electric Car Company, has been awarded the Young Entrepreneurs Organisation's (YEO) Thomas Alva Edison Award for innovation.

YEO and Edison Preservation Foundation teamed up together to create the award, which is an annual honour given to young entrepreneurs for their innovative contributions to the society.

Gavaskar receives Ceat lifetime achievement award
Mumbai: Former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has been honoured with the lifetime achievement award while ace Sri Lankan off-spinner Muthiah Muralitharan received the coveted Ceat international cricketer of the year 2000-01 award.

Muralitharan was also adjudged the best bowler with 110 points while his compatriot Marvan Atapattu won the award for the international batsman.
