Sandipan Ghosh quits Mother Dairy

Sandipan Ghosh, head, marketing, dairy and foods, has quit from Mother Dairy, where he has been actively involved with two food brands - Mother Dairy and Safal.
During his tenure, a complete re-branding exercise for Mother Dairy was taken up, and a range of dairy products and ice-creams were launched across markets.
A re-branding exercise for Safal was taken up in 2006, and the brand was extended into other processed fruit and vegetable products such as juices, drinks and frozen snacks.
Ghosh was with the company for four years. He plans join a global food brand in Dubai.
Ghosh began his career in 1997 with Electrolux in Singapore and then branched out on his own with a brand consultancy firm, which he named Vertebrand Management Consulting.
He joined MTR Foods as brand manager, where he spent about four years, followed by Tata Chemicals, where he handled Tata Salt.
After spending a year at Tata Chemicals, Ghosh joined Mother Dairy in 2005 as marketing manager. In 2008, he was designated head, marketing, dairy and foods, Mother Dairy.
