Simone Tata Rejoins The IFA Board Gurcharan Das And Romi Khosla Appointed Trustees

New Delhi: Simone Tata, president of Trent Industries has re-joined the board of trustees of the Bangalore-based NGO, ''India Foundation for the Arts'' , while management consultant and well-known playright Gurcharan Das, renowned architect Romi Khosla and Art curator and preservationist, Nandita Palchoudhuri have been appointed to its board of trustees.
According to Anmol Vellani, executive director, of the
foundation, "IFA believes that philanthropy is
a complex activity that requires expert and professional
attention and the appointment of trustees from diverse
backgrounds will further infuse expertise in our objective
of grant making in the arts."India Foundation for the Arts is committed to the promotion
of the arts in India and has supported 115 projects
across 17 states with a
commitment of over Rs 62 million. These grants support
theoretical investigations at one end and grassroots
activity at the other.
