'The Sunday Guardian' unveiled by MJ Akbar in Delhi

After having launched The Telegraph and The Asian Age, 'serial editor' M J Akbar's latest media venture, The Sunday Guardian, hit the Delhi newsstands last Sunday, 31 January.

Priced at Rs3, the new paper is an English weekly on Sundays especially catering to the Delhi markets.

It ia available as India on Sunday in London

The Sunday Guardian aims to tap the weekend space and is designed for the educated masses. Outdoor marketing is the means chosen for campaigning the paper with 25 hoardings to be put up across Delhi.

Akbar is the editor and the paper, which is being published by his media company, MJP Media Pvt Ltd. Sonia Bakshi is the marketing head.

Akbar's earlier launches include The Telegraph in 1982 and Asian Age in 1994.
