Says Escotel India chief operating officer Ambrish Jain: "Mobile phones are seen as the driver of one''s identity with emphasis on ''self-expression''. The youth segment, with strong inclination towards services other than voice, is the key driver for future mobile growth."
Says Escotel Kerala chief operating officer B Ramakrishna: "The youths up to 30 years of age who account for almost 70 per cent of the population will be the prime movers of the ongoing mobile revolution. And this card has been launched primarily targeting them."
And what does the card hold for the youth? An outgoing tariff of 60 paisa per 30 seconds call from 8 pm to 7 am, SMS at 50 paisa per message, and recharge coupons at Rs 250 having a 30-day validity.
More than that, the card provides for Yahoo Mail and Messenger, Playwin Lotto, group messaging, smart alerts, picture messages, logos, ring tones, chat, fun games and even has a Love Zone.
