Honda launches new version of CBF Stunner

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) yesterday launched the CBF Stunner bike in a new version, priced at Rs64,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company plans said it plans to enter the high volume 100cc bike segment in 2010.
The new CBF Stunner with its 125cc air-cooled, four-stroke self-start engine that delivers 11.6 bhp is especially designed to appeal to youth. The bike integrates PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection) technology that dramatically increases fuel efficiency (65 km a litre) and enhances performance besides improving overall efficiency.
The PGM-FI technology is responsible for increasing the efficiency, top speed and engine power. The new model is expected to give a mileage of 65 km per litre as compared to 60 km per litre delivered by the earlier Stunner.
Biking enthusiasts would also enjoy the top speed of 100 km/hour that the bike can reach.
HMSI chief executive officer, Shinji Aoyama said that the company sold 10.7 lac units last fiscal and this year they were targeting a 12 per cent increase with 12.5 lac units.
The company plans to make new bike will be available in the market by the first week of June.
