Sierra Atlantic wins Oracle award for second time in a row

New Delhi: Sierra Atlantic, the application networks company, has been awarded the Oracle Application Reseller of the Year 2002 by Oracle Singapore Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oracle Corp (www.oracle.com), the world''s largest enterprise software company.

This is the second year in succession that Sierra Atlantic has won awards from Oracle, having received the e-Business Suite Implementer of the Year 2001 award and an award for outstanding achievement during the Oracle Apps World in Beijing in June 2002.

"They have a thorough knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite, have experience with several Oracle e-Business suite implementations and extensive domain knowledge of the process manufacturing industry. Being an Oracle e-business reseller, the challenge is not just about being able to demonstrate and resell Oracle products but also the ability to rollout and implement Oracle solutions successfully. In a short span of two years, Sierra Atlantic has managed to build up domain knowledge in the process manufacturing industry and thus leading them to win many significant projects in food and beverages (process manufacturing) industry like Prima Deli, Pokka Corp and Petra Foods, which are very significant and strategic to Oracle, the companies having a strong presence across the Asia Pacific region.

Sierra Atlantic made a successful entry into the Asia-Pacific market in 2001, offering a broad range of services to users of the Oracle E-Business Suite, including implementation, upgrades, customisation and integration services.
