AV Expo to be held in Mumbai
27 October 2003
AV Expo is the largest audio-visual event aimed at increasing the interaction between the industry and the end-users, subsequently benefiting both. The expo is being organised by AV Max, India's No 1 music, audio and video magazine.
AV Expo was held in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore earlier. AV Expo at Bangalore was a resounding success and had over 40,000 visitors and over 1.25-crore business enquiries were generated in Bangalore itself.
Says Tata Infomedia managing director Hoshang Billimoria: "AV Expo has already been to Delhi and Bangalore before coming back to Mumbai. There has been a revolution in the home theatre experience and AV Expo will give an opportunity for visitors to experience the latest technology and brands — all under one roof. We expect over 50,000 visitors this year."
AV Expo 2003 Mumbai will showcase all the latest technologies and gadgets. Building on last year's response, there will be additional categories and also value-added services for both the consumers and industry insiders. Some leading foreign brands will be making their mark in the Indian market for the first time via AV Expo. Seminars and lectures will be hosted by leading audio professionals on path-breaking formats. Show timings for AV Expo 2003 Mumbai will be from 10 to 7 pm.
With a circulation of over 45,000, AV Max features equipment reviews, news, new technology showcases, recommended CDs and DVDs, artiste profiles and interviews, ratings of audio and video systems with a comprehensive 'Buyers Guide.' The magazine is a part of Tata Infomedia.
