Tata Indicom offers unlimited free local calls on its network

Mumbai: All local mobile calls will now be free within the Tata Indicom network, with the company introducing a direct plan under which there will be no charges on local calls, while 49 paise will be charged for calls to other mobile operators.
"Consumers will get the local mobile call free of cost to other Tata Indicom phones. These free calls are not limited to any number, they are unlimited".
While,

lines would cost 99 paise, STDs would cost around Rs
2.4.
Tata Indicom also announced the pan-India launch of
`Freedom Call Voucher'' offering free and unlimited outgoing
calls to any local Tata (fixed and mobile) phone. The
pre-paid unlimited plan is available for Rs325 for 30
days and also offers a Rs150 bonus talk time for other
calls.
The rate for calling other local networks is Rs0.49 per minute and to local fixed lines is Rs0.99 per minute. In May, MTNL had announced free unlimited calls between Garuda wireless post paid customers to any two MTNL local mobiles connections (GSM/CDMA).
Tata Indicom also introduced a `Go Super Pack'' for Rs199 with free 1200 minutes of T2T and one year incoming free. It has also introduced colour handsets from Motorola in the range of Rs770 to Rs2,650 for Radiomoto W210. The company is offering free on-net outgoing calls at Rs325 with a range of handsets from the Go Super starter pack.

Indicom currently has three million customers across
fixed line and wireless and is present in 350 towns.
