Motorola chooses Wind River technology for digital set-tops

Mumbai: Wind River Systems Inc (www.windriver.com), a worldwide market leader in embedded software and services, has announced that its technology is being deployed in Motorola''s DCT2500 core interactive digital set-tops.
The DCT2500 is an enhanced version of the DCT2000 the world''s most widely deployed digital cable set-top. Enhancements in the DCT2500 include a faster processor and more memory enabling it to run more robust interactive applications more efficiently.
