No backlash from BPO customers: Wipro

Bangalore: In response to yesterday''s news of losing an outsourcing contract of Lehman brothers, Wipro says the business lost is a very small part of the total work done for Lehman brothers.
According to Girish Parnajpaye, CEO of Finance Vertical, the help desk function which has been taken inhouse by Lehman brothers actually constitutes only 5 per cent of the total work done for Lehman by Wipro.
The company clarified that project deliveries are reviewed periodically and the success rate of projects and client satisfaction is very high. And in some cases, where the client or Wipro are not satisfied, the project itself is shelved.
Wipro says it has not faced any backlash or perception change amongst its US customers for outsourcing work to the company.
