Yamaha Motors launches two new Fazer versions

Mumbai: Yamaha Motor India has unveiled two variants of executive commuter two-wheeler, Fazer 125, called Fazer Dlx (Deluxe) and Limited Edition Fazer. The deluxe version comes equipped with disc brakes and electric start, guaranteeing the utmost performance and ease while riding.
Also, the limited edition of Fazer Dlx is Yamaha Motors' special offering for its customers for this festive season. In enthralling flame graphics, with two-tone paints, the two shades available are leaf green metallic and bluish white cocktail. The 1,000 two-wheelers will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Through the new launches Yamaha Motors plans to consolidate its position in the executive commuter category.
Speaking at the launch, A V Srinivasan, director and executive vice president, marketing and sales, Yamaha Motor India, said, "The limited edition Fazer with flame graphics will generate a lot of excitement and visibility on the roads. The launch of deluxe version with disc brakes and self start is in line with our commitment to offer products that meet distinct needs of the Indian customers."
The new bikes feature disc brakes 240 mm front; electric start - 12V-5 AH (lead acid battery one off) and kick start; system voltage - 12V AC / DC ; 125 cc, 4 stroke SOHC 2-value engine; BS carburetor with YTPS; large fuel tank offering economy ride; multi reflector dual-headlight; Indian 2005 emission standards compliant.
The Yamaha 'throttle position sensor (YTPS)', the first ever on an Indian model optimises the functioning of the BS carburetor while also ensuring outstanding combustion efficiency, maximised fuel economy and good pick up. Giving the bike a distinct look is its wide-spaced dual headlight, with the latest multi-reflector technology. Taillight integrated with the flashers gives the bike that classy yet sporty look.
The ex-showroom price of the Fazer Dlx is Rs 47, 990 while the Fazer Dlx Limited Edition comes at Rs 48,700.
